On your very special day, you will want your speech to be just as special.  This can be made possible with just a few tips and tricks.  In this article, I’ll tell you what they are.

Of course you’ll know that you want to thank people in your speech and knowing who you should be thanking will make your speech so much easier to write.  If you forget to thank someone however, it will be very upsetting, so make a list of all the people you want to thank.  Once you have your list compare it with your husbands list.  You will be thanking the same people but when it comes to caterers and other people who have made a contribution, just one of you would be fine.

When it comes to thanking your parents, you’ll know what to say, but it isn’t always that easy when it comes to your husbands parents.  If you know them well, then it may be easier thanking them for making you feel most welcome in their home and lives, but if you don’t know them that well, then you might just want to thank them for raising the man you love to be who he is.

You will want to thank your husband too and tell him how much you love him.  You could include a memorable story or something funny about how you met at this point of the speech.

Finally you will want to thank those people who were unable to make it to your wedding due to illness or death and would like to mention that they are also remembered.
